Got any questions?
We strive to make it as easy as possible to stay safe, so if your questions aren’t answered here, please reach out to us in our chat or via a email.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Mastercard & Visa as Credit Card payments, aswell as Bitcoin payments via BitPay.
What does the Credit Card charge show up as?
The Credit Card statement shows as “thehup.org” so that you are aware where the charge came from.
Are test-kits legal and are your packages discrete?
Testkits are a perfectly legal product, and commonly used by harm reduction organizations.
We do not ship the test kits with anything that hints towards substance use, such as reaction cards, a receipt with a link to our site and even use abbreviations for the labels instead of the reagent’s full names.
So to put it simply, all our orders are packaged extremely discretely and with care of privacy.
Where do you ship?
We ship to every country in the world.
How long time does shipping take?
All our orders are shipped in a 1st Class Priority package within 24h of order.
USA & Canada: 7-14 Days
Europe: 7-14 Days
Rest of the world: 8-14 Days
These delivery estimates are given to us by our Postal Courier, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a delivery within this time. One has to take in account for any customs delays or such.
We’ve had packages take less and more time, so order your testkits in time.
Please note that we do not currently offer any Express shipping, and that these estimates are counted as business days.
How to use a test kit?
Before testing we recommend you look up what the reactions for the intended substance is, make sure you understand the process, how to dispose of it and make sure you have taken proper safety precautions, after you have done that follow these instructions
– Prepare an small speck of the powder/corner of an blotter on a ceramic plate or mug, approximately the size of a matchstick head
– Remove the cap from the bottle and tilt it slowly until one drop falls onto the powder, do not let the bottle tip touch the powder as this would contaminate and ruin the reagent
– Observe the color reaction for circa 30-60 seconds and use our Reagents Tool
Disposal of the liquid/test-kits should be done by neutralizing the acid with baking soda & then diluting it with water into the sink
If you are testing powder/pills then we recommend running the test multiple times to see if there is any difference in reaction, as an small speck of some powder does not represent the sample as a whole.
These are corrosive and toxic chemicals, please treat them as such.
Perform the testing in a well lit area
Don’t mix the reagent caps to avoid cross contamination
Store reagents in a dark & cold area like a fridge. (Let reagents warm up to room-temp before opening)
Always store the bottle standing up
Which test kit do I need?
Don’t know exactly what you need? Marquis is a common first testkit to use, and suitable for substances like Cocaine, MDMA, Amphetamine and more. We also have Substance specific Testkits which you can find here.
If you want to test psychedelics such as LSD, DMT or mushrooms then the Ehrlich Test Kit is what you need, further testing with other reagents is necessary to be able to conclude which substance it is as Ehrlich only reveals that it is an substance within the indole drug class.
Looking for a more comprehensive test? Our 7-in-1 Complete Test Kit includes an selection of reagents with the most logged reactions, giving you the best chance at finding out what is in your sample and possible adulterations.
How long do testkits last?
One year is to be expected in optimal storage conditions but shelf life varies with each reagent as well as to what conditions you have stored them.
Keep the test kits out of light, in cold storage and do not leave the bottles un-capped any longer than necessary.
To see if your test-kit is still valid after long term storage test common substances like Vitamin C, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Paracetamol or any known substances (i.e an sample you know for sure is a certain substance) and see if the reaction is correct in reference to our reagent tool
I'm unsure of a result I got?
